well i wake up this morning and my boyfriend asks me if i heard about the tunnel yet. my response was *huh?...the fort pitt tunnel?* (living in pittsburgh there are three tunnels here and i assumed he meant one of those - haha!) but little did i know he was talking about some estravagant tunnel built illegally going from california to mexico underground. it was a drug smuggling tunnel and they took out over two tons of marijuana from it. they have no one in custody at this moment but check out this site of the story with 4 pictures...crazy. and the tunnel had electricity, cement floors and ceilings, a pully system and running water....check it out: http://articles.news.aol.com/news/article.adp?id=20060126135909990005&cid=505

oh yea baby! this is the best day EVER!!! Here we go.....Steelers.....Here we go.....PITTSBURGH'S GOIN TO THE SUPERBOWL! oh i love it!!! i knew they could do it! and this one's for you Jerome!!!!! playing the superbowl in his home town of...DETROIT...and then winning of course for his *supposed* last season..;) the game was awesome...the season was awesome..this town is awesome..and i just love my men! and the crazy songs and events that go on while we are rockin this year!!! makes everything so much better while driving to work and going into the supermarket and whatever else there may be!!! everyone wearing black and gold no matter where you go. i even went out at 830am today to buy an AFC championship sweatshirt and hat!! oh yea-you better believe it! everyone better be wearing their black and gold for the superbowl day!!!! ironically i will be in Virginia for the superbowl because Chris' bday happens to fall that weekend and we are visiting his family; however, it will still be a great superbowl party there and i will be rocking my sweatshirt while chris rocks his hat!!!! and we will DEF kick seattles butt!!! And dad, the bet is on!!!! you see..my dad's team has always been the Seahawks....and he LOVES to gamble/bet...so he said he wanted to bet me if it were a seattle-steelers game..and well what do ya know!!! DAD + SEAHAWKS AT SUPERBOWL + ADDICTION TO GAMBLING = DAD BETTING JULIA AND "LOSING"!!! extra money, yes!!! hahaha :) anyways..i was just excited to post...hope all is well out there with the rest of you. until next time....paz

joined a gym

well today Chris and I finally joined a gym and we are on our way to losing weight and feeling better! it feels so great to finally be able to join a gym financially and getting ready to be in the best shape i have ever been. this will do a lot for us both physically and mentally. we have both been very excited dreaming about what it would be like to be a member of a gym and today our dreams have just come true. it is not your typical high class fancy gym with tons of people there and all beautiful just trying to out-do the girl next to you with makeup and cute clothes. this gym is about the workout and not trying to impress, while at the same time, it is not crowded. just our style! the guy was really friendly and sincere and it was the best price we came across too. so get ready everyone, in months you will see a new and improved julia and chris. we are going to go at 6am before chris has to be at school at 8am just about every morning - maybe a day or two off sometimes, but we are serious about this. it will also do wonders for me to work out every morning because of my high blood pressure - they say morning excercize has been proven to lower high blood pressure significantly compared to any other time of working out. interesting i know :) well i was just so very excited to write about it and finally join a real gym, unlike those tiny little things at our complexes in state college. oh oh i almost forgot...to top it off..for 10 extra dollars a month i get unlimited tanning!!! oh that is the greatest! i love tanning and i get unlimited for basically 10 bucks??? what a deal!!! so for chris and i both to be members, plus my 10 extra a month for tanning is only 50 dollars a month! ya cant beat that for the results we are going to get! eating right will help too; so junk food and built up fat..."BRING IT ON"!!!

well this morning on the way to take chris to school..right on our exit there were 4 police cars, radio stations and news crews all lined up and SOMETHING was going down. on my way home on the exit i have to get off to get to my apartment here in Carnegie, i passed them once more. going through my little town to get to my apartment i passed 3 more state troopers which was very unusual, so i had to go check it out on the news. so i came online and to my surprise...last nite around 2am a state trooper was pulling over a car and was shot to death and stuffed in the snow bank. here is the article to read: http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/tribune-review/trib/pmupdate/s_403235.html it is such a shame and wow such a little close to home. carnegie is NOT very big and it is a shame that people must do things like this when THEY are obviously the one in the wrong and guilty of something. now they will be charged with murder instead of what ever they were guilty of last nite. well hello there, it's been a while yes! Well, there are many new things. First off... I HAVE A CAR..yay!!! that is soo exciting! it really makes life much easier when you have a car and also adds more time to your day-it's amazing! It is a 96 Ford Taurus and i just love it. So now i hope to find a job easier with a car-yes! Second off, i have been in Erie for a while visiting and while i was there, my friend that i grew up with from 5yrs-13yrs in my good ole Erie neighborhood was shot and killed. I grew up with him, his brother and his sister, me and Melissa (the sister) were really good friends and even kept in touch after they moved away. Her and Paul (the one shot) actually came to visit me my junior year at PSU with Stephanie. So it's only been 2 years since i last saw him and when i was home visiting he was shot and killed outside of a bar. This was not only bad enough, but i didn't pay attention to the name and therefore missed the funeral, because i did not know i knew the person shot. i saw the news one night and saw his picture and was like *omg..i know him!*...well..it was too late to go to the wake and i felt terrible. If you could please keep his family in your prayers, read the story on the link and take a look at his obituary posted below, i would appreciate it. thank you.

haha. anyone wanna loan me a car? well here's the deal..(lol) so i am suppose to start this job at Americorps KEYS which is just a job to hold me over until i find a better one. this one only pays 10000 dollars a year before taxes...however it keeps your loans in deffered status and if you give them a complete year they give you 4,795 dollars toward your school loans at the end. so its kinda alright...and im suppose to start monday oct 24th....well well well...as life would have it..i recieve an email yesterday from a human resource lady that wants to offer me this great job...child care worker but for VisionQuest and i would be working with court adjudicated teenage girls that either have babies or are pregnant. i would be teaching them how to take care of their children and become responsible individuals. this would be perfect for me. i so totally want the job AND..it has complete benefits...DENTAL included which is great for me...it is 20 miles from my doorstep AND the pay is 24000 dollars...and she loves my resume with my experience and what not.......BUT I NEED A FREAKIN CAR TO GET THERE cuz there are no busses that run into washington pa. GOD FREAKIN DAMN IT..how many job offers am i going to have to turn down due to not having a fucking car. this is very agrivating you see. perfect job...perfect money...perfect benefits and no damn car. soo....again..anyone wanna loan me a car til i can make money to reemburse you? hahah! yes..so this is my frustration today...what to do what to do! ahhh..the depression sets in.........lil sis

ok..so...first off..once again..happy birthday to Clarabella who turned THE BIG THREE on saturday october 15th...i put her on my post that day so all is well...and second..if you didn't check out my halloween post with pictures..get crackin....and i will add more pictures on this one like my last one says at the end cuz it wouldn't allow me to add any more pictures..how lame! that has to be some kind of record or something with the most pictures..haha.. do i win an award? :) ok..so anyways...yea....umm...PENN STATE? WHAT HAPPEND? ok so...if you didn't watch the game...OH MY GOD!!!...so they didn't show up for like the first half of the game...AT ALL...but it was ok...michigan wasn't too into getting points either...oh and by the way..our kicker sucks and we missed TWO field goal attempts that were like only 30 yards give or take a few ..well michigan got a field goal and a touch down...and THEN...we FINALLY score a touch down..and the score is 7-10...then we make a field goal and tie it 10-10....and it's michigans drive and we take the ball out of the quarter backs arms and run it back 35 yards and make a second touch down within 1 minute mind you going from 3pts to 10pts to 18pts....because we went for the two point conversion. so it's now 10-18...well well well..michigan comes back and says IN YOUR FACE PENN STATE....touch down and two point conversion to tie. BLAH BLAH. oh...and mind you..this is all in the 4th quarter that i guess both teams decided...holy shit are we really playing? so then...they scored another field goal..making it 18-21 michigan. there's like 2 minutes left and we drive it down and make a miracle touch down....and think we got it in the bag...well...michigan goes down and they NEED a touchdown to win....and we stop them some and there is seconds left and michigan coach calls a time out at 30 seconds and the reffs didnt stop it til 28 seconds so he is pissed and argues and delays game to get his 2 freakin seconds back....and he wins and gets em back..so michigan goes down and we stop and the time is ticking and it gets stopped with 6 seconds and then they are on the 15 yard line and it's 3rd and 1 and this time only 1 second left...you hear me?? ONE SECOND LEFT....and you will not believe it...they freakin make their touch down and win the god damn game! ONE SECOND....the two freakin seconds that the coach argued for! two freakin seconds back to win the whole game..OH MY GOD! yea so i was a lil bitter...sigh! ok..so if you saw the game..sorry for wasting your time!! man oh man....ok.....now that im over it...*COUGH* f-michigan *COUGH*. It's Halloween Time Baby!!!

Well before i start..i want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLARABELLA! it's her birthday-yay! 3 years old today! my lil niece that is! happy birthday girl! :):)

So the story goes like this...Chris and I went on our first halloween adventure yesterday to go to the *haunted scream assylum*, which was very awesome. it was like a carnival and had rides and food stands and then two major haunted house thingys. i had a lot of fun and have many pictures to share. This first one is me waiting for the bus to go to the assylum and manic mansion. the hours were from 6-midnite and of course we left on the 535 bus because i was very excited! haha. so it's still daylight out.

Then there i am after arriving at the carnival TOO EARLY and NO ONE was there and the park wasn't even open yet even though it was 615 and it was said to open at 6. So chris and i just hung out around in the parking lot for a while and took a walk down the road until we felt more comfortable going in with at least a couple others..haha. note to self *don't go to haunted houses before dark..no one else is there and you will feel completely dumb*

So here is chris after going through the first level of scary stuff in the *BatMan Land*...this picture ws completely pitch black in my camera and i was hoping i had it aimed at him and i think it came out rather good for not being able to see ANYTHING in the damn maze!!

Then there's me...scared of the clown! haha. chris did a good job looking into black and getting me in the picture as well..lol. It was really fun going through the *batman land* and having crazy faces jump up every time you walked and things touching your feet at one part and blowing air out at you. Total fun!

Then we went to the *Manic Mansion* which was pretty cool. Here chris is afraid to go in! there were dead people in this mansion and coming to life in every room we went in. then we get *lost* in the library and find ourselves in the attic trying to escape all the scary warewolves and freaky people chasing us. it was fun and we were suppose to help these crazy kids out of the scary house, but we just kept walking..:) we didn't wanna get sucked in. (you're really not suppose to help them out..they just come after you screaming help, help me, please, help!)

Here is a picture i TRIED to get of the scary warewolf chasing me...it freaked me out so he ended up following me out..it was freaky seriously. so i turned around and tried to take a picture in the dark and here is what i got. don't ever turn your back in the dark.

Then here is chris getting ready to enter our last and *scarriest* scream assylum. however, he does not look the least bit scared to go in-haha. this place was cool because it was a crazy psych ward and we had to find *jack slaughter* and there were people acting psychotic and strapped down and sleep walking and it was freaky and then there is a maze at the end where you CANNOT find your way out-it was cool. i thought this sign was cute too..it said *i want you boils and ghouls*..hahahahha.

Here i am with the skeletons in my closet-haha. they were cool cuz they popped out of the closets and almost hit you while you walk through..in the complete pitch dark mind you! With blood on the walls too!! Yikes!

And here is a picture of the skeletons eating each other in the assylum. i did not want to take pictures of the *real* people due to respect, so i took pictures of the props in there and this one i could not see for the life of me so i just tried to get it and here is what i got. haha.

So then, are you ready for a laugh?? well, at the
carnival i wanted a carmel apple really bad but it
was TOOOO expensive especially after fries and a lemonade and a hot dog for chris...soo chris said why don't we go to the store on the way home and buy carmels and melt our own and we had apples....soooo i thought that was a cute idea and we did that...BUT...at the cvs they didn't have normal carmels...so we just settled with *COW TAILS* everyone! yes...i said it..cow tails..but the little round ones that chris calls *cow anus'*...but anyways...i sat there and popped out all the little white centers to every single one and then we melted the carmel to make our very own...homeade carmel apples and i had to take pictures...so there is the white centers with two of the carmels on the side.

Here are the apples we used, and as you see...we didn't have popsicle sticks so we used forks..haha. but they still look cute right?? and it worked...so pfft! we used chris' fav type of apples...granny smith!

Here is chris dipping his apple in the yummy carmel before it hardens. it was soo much fun..you guys should try it if you get a chance. i know they have kits for this kind of stuff, but we wanted to be original..haha. we didn't have the supper-market near us so we just went to cvs and delt with what we had.

Yay!!!! So my Steelers won baby! yes!!!! The game was a very good one too i might add. I love my *Bus* and my *Big Ben* baby!!! They should always keep bus in..he is just so great :) he owned the field...yes! haha. it is unfortunate that big ben got hurt at the end and i hope he is ok for the other games....ru'oh. i am also glad he was hurt in the last minute of the game rather than early...yikes! But bus did it!! got us the yards needed for that last glorious kick! YEP!!! bam-perfect! i loved it! and how about them refs???????????? were they flag happy or what?? my god! there was 12 freakin penalties between both teams in just the first freakin quarter!!!!! they were callin one just about every drive...it was a bit rediculous-even the announcer thought so! anyways....i hope my men keep up their good work and kick the rest of the teams asses and take themselves to a super bowl baby! ohhhhhh how i want to just run into the bus or big ben out sometime....sigh...*dreams of meeting the team*....oh that would be nice! Speaking of THE STEELERS!! last week chris and i got to TOUR HEINZ FIELD for free baby!!!!! omg it was glorious!!! my aunt and cousin took us there cuz it was free for ONE day and man it was awesome...it was an hour and a half tour AND we were on the news!!! it was so cool! they showed us EVERYTHING...and i was just drooling...of course i didnt freakin remember my damn camera...who does that??????????? i got to go in the locker room of the steelers...saw all their names....*drools*....however...we weren't allowed to STEP on their symbols..and they apparently don't either in the locker room cuz its *bad luck*....so no one..not even the coaches or team members step on their emblems on the carpet....its really awesome in there. THEN...we got to see the freakin suites and OMG...holy fuckin shit is all i can say....100,000 freakin dollars for the suits...for one season....however, it does seat 16 people and all leather comfy chairs....with fridge, two computers, two tv's, drinks galore...a table...just everything man!!! the 100,000 doesnt include any food what so ever..or alcohol (of course)....man it was totally awesome...so i am thinking that i have to just meet the right people now or get one of my own to watch the games once i get rich...haaa! yea right...for someone to be able to afford that..you gotta be makin millions...wow...i was literally drooling! then we saw the press room and the tv station room and writers room...man the whole thing was just awesome! if anyone ever wants to see it and loves football....it's worth it...and they give tours all the time..but ya gotta pay :) they have an awesome hall of fame thingy too-just so awesome! but ANYWAYSSSS now that i went on forever about my men...i hope you all have the opportunity to see your teams stadium and home! :) i will go back and pay for a tour sometime and GET PICTURES this time!!! until then...just imagine :) oh and we WEREN'T ALLOWED to step on the field...and reason was..*we don't want you guys to have any bad reaction to the chemicals we put on the field*....BULLSHIT is all i have to say....they let the members lay, eat, get slammed down into, grind on and just get mouth fulls of the CHEMICAL grass, but we cant STEP on it...hahah..why not just be up front with us that they don't want us ruining the grass?!? haha..how funny, but yea apparently NO ONE is allowed on the grass but the players and coaches... besides the *off sides* part...but ok..i am really leaving this time.....i'll catch ya all on the flip side..hope to see you this weekend mike!!! be here or be square!!! i am serious! miss ya and we will have SO MUCH fun! love ya! lil sis/jewel

ok...so...the blog spammers have FOUND ME, and none the less....ON MY DAMN BIRTHDAY!!! What a nice b-day present from my lil world of blogging. hah! I am pretty sure they are spammers anyway, so, if anyone would be so kind as to how i am to set up the *code* thing for my comments to avoid these stupid bots~i would appreciate it! ;) Yes...my birthday..it has only just begun and i'm lovin it! finally 24 today, not that i am tryin to get up there in numbers, but yep i love birthdays! So..i love ice cream cake from DQ...and we now live in Pittsburgh without a car...so..my boyfriend was going to get me an ice cream cake from DQ but to travel on a bus with one would not be so smart b/c im sure it would melt by the time he got home with it..SOOO you will never believe what he did for me!! hahaha. He went out and bought my favorite ice cream (mint chocolate chip of course) and first..made a batch of brownies and then layered the ice cream on top and then put oreo cookie's and crumbled them up on top of the ice cream as the topper..and then with recees pieces he spelled out *Happy B-day Baby!* on top with a smiley face too!!!! it was soooooooooooo cute!! so thoughtful and so romantic....I just loved it! what a nice surprise and even better than any manufactured DQ cake!! AWWWW!! then we may go out to dinner later after he gets home too! :) YES!! lol. or who knows, but anything will be fun! it was kinda nice to come home (to erie) for my b-day too, because then i can celebrate my bday for more than one day! yess!! i had lots of fun at home with my family and went out to eat there too~ thanks to mike and sarah! we went to damons and it was yummy and we played trivia..added bonus! then we went home for yummy cheesecake-it was all delicious!! thanks guys! and they got me this awesome game that i am still itchin to play and cant wait til chris gets home at 1:30!!! it's Yahzee Texas Hold Em!!! so awesome...i will let you know how it was mike..and then when you come...*its on!* haha. :) Well...ok enough about my b-day..i have lots to look forward to today....so until next time....CIAO!

Well...what to say about this horrible disaster happening down south. i could not help but make a post about this horrific tragedy. This is the worst disaster in the united states since 1906 with a san fransisco earthquake. if that doesn't show you how much of devistation this Katrina is, then i don't know what will. Well i just got back from Erie this past weekend and i had a blast! i went home to erie for a week and visited with friends and family trying to keep my mind off of not having a job in pittsburgh-it worked! :) I did not have enough time to visit with everyone like i wanted, but isn't it always like that? sigh. the weather sure took a turn for the better these past few days-i love it! last nite chris, my two aunts, my two uncles, my four cousins and one of their boyfriends and i all went to the Pirates game for free!!! it was fun times even tho they lost-big surprise right? it was fun to just go to a pirates game and take pictures. once i get my cord back from my moms house i will have to put my pictures online. i have never watched baseball my entire life so it was interesting to say the least. i LOVE football tho and would LOVE to have steeler tickets one day! *dreaming*. The BUS and BIG BEN are my two men!!! i love em! i have always loved the steelers over every team, but now here i am living in pittsburgh-oh how wonderful! anyways...life keeps movin and things will soon look better when i have a money flow coming in!! hope everyone is enjoying the rest of their summer and squeezing the most in their plans until the snow falls! well well well...so does anyone know that Andy Milonakis is really 29 years old?? I have watched a couple episodes of this new show on MTV (Sunday in the stew) and i thought he was about 12 years old, it did not help that before the show came out-MTV announced that he was a 10 year old kid living in his own apartment in NYC and creating his own show. Anyways...so i told chris he was 10 and he said *no way..he's at least 12*...so we both went on thinkin he was 12. Well....so my cousin says to me the other day *you know that Andy Milonakis kid...he's really 29 with that disease that makes you look younger*. chris and i both said *no way...did you ever watch his show?...that is just a lie..where did you hear that?*.... so time goes on and i see my cousin again today and he says *oh yea...Andy Milonakis being 29 is really true..im serious..check it out on the internet* so i did and WOW!!..i was shocked to find out that this guy really is 29years old. I am enjoying my time here in Pittsburgh so far but this finding a job thing after graduating-sucks! I spend many hours a day looking at all the different sites displaying jobs for the Pittsburgh area and fill out applications and send resumes just about daily and still...no bites. Oh well i guess it takes time. However, i will be getting a random shitty regular job to hold me over because i need the money to start coming in...haha. Anyways...Pittsburgh is a fun city with lots of shit happenin anytime. Station Square is pretty awesome and chris and i went and watched their free band concert they have every friday from 5-11pm. Ironically, the second band that went on stage-the singer worked with chris at papa johns back in state college...so it was quite ironic and cool to have that happen. the guy was in the band back then too but just not as popular and chris bought the guys cd at pj's too. So now they moved to Pittsburgh for more opportunity and are getting up there in popularity-so it was cool seein them and hearing them play the cd we already had for 2 years live! :) Also i am sooo happy the heat wave finally broke..i didnt know how much longer i could take sweating just going to my bus stop out front and being confined to my bedroom because that's where the air is. haha. well i hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the rest of the summer! finally..this time it is not my fault..;) i finally moved to pittsburgh july 16th and am finally settled in. i am still looking for work..sigh..but it shall come! we just now got our internet/phone and cable tv hooked up today-we were withdrawling...haha. two weeks without internet, phone or tv SUCKS. what did people do back in the day? haha. i am not a reader...so our day went something like this...*ok...so what do you wanna do?....hmmm 'look at the bus schedule again'.....2 mins passes.....ok...so now what?....'look for something to eat in the kitchen'......4 mins pass.....ok so now what?...'play ONE more game of solitare on the computer and bejeweled trying to beat our records one more time'......30 mins passes....DAMN NOW WHAT? WE STILL HAVE HOW MANY HOURS TIL THE DAY IS OVER?...lets go downtown to practice the bus route one more time!!! yea...life with out technology..hahah. sad but true. ok well the humidity here is outrageous and i cannot stand it anymore! lol..with a dripping air conditioner....that sucks..but anyways..i am now off to bed at 3 am and back on schedule to my lately rituals of internet surfing..ha! i know i know..it's been months and this damn site has cobwebs on it! i just have been addicted to the game of WOW on the computer. anyone play it? World Of Warcraft for all you non-computer game geeks out there. It is surely addicting and i always log into lil Ravenette and play my heart out on my time off. ok...so..have you guys ever watched the wizard of oz with the pink floyd cd? (dark side of the moon). well...it is totally cool!!! i have heard many things on this and that certain things just go together so ironically and stuff...so while i was babysitting the other day..the guy that i babysit for...well his friend was there and told me all about it and then he played it for me. we sat there and watched it and it was very synchronized and absolutely awesome! you guys need to try it!!! so here's what you do if you never heard this before and want to try it..check it out and it is FUNNY TOO!:):):):) make sure you read the end part where it says *synchronize's to look for*
How to Synchronize Pink Floyd and the Wizard of Oz :
1. Buy or rent the movie The Wizard of Oz.
2. Buy or rent the CD of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.
3. Put the CD in the player and press pause at the beginning of track 1.
4. Put the movie in your VCR and begin to play.
5. Turn off the sound on your television. Turn up the volume on your CD player.
6. When the MGM lion roars for the third time, unpause the CD.
7. If the credit "Produced by Mervyl Leroy" appears onscreen at the transition between "Speak to Me" and "Breathe," then you are correctly synched.
8. Sit back and enjoy!
Tips:
1. Use a CD, not an album. Stopping to flip the album would mess up the synchronicity.
2. Try to think of this as one long, bizarre music video. Don't expect too much and you might be amazed.

Well it is that time for me to GRADUATE!!!! May 14th is graduation day. Tomrrow is my last day of classes and then two finals on tuesday! (May 3rd). YEAH YEAH YEAH! So yesterday my day starts off with me renting a car to take Chris to Altoona for a doctors appointment for work. Neither of us have been there and there was a freakin Veterans Parade there on the main street and we had to detour and we got lost for an hour..could not find where we were suppose to be...but ok thats fine...then i miss 2 of my classes cuz we are so late..ok fine...then i go to one of my classes left and then decide to skip my last one and go shopping with my friend instead cuz i have a car for a day...YEAH....so at 5:45pm we are drivin to the store and BAM!!! out of no where....a fuckin dear! excuse my language... then there just HAPPEND to be a cop riding behind me for bout 3 miles and he turns on his siren and lights instantaneously and omg glass went flyin..car kinda conked out for a second..then i pull over..and the cop gets out and brings out his rifle and is getting ready to shoot the deer to makesure it is dead and it jumps up and runs away with THREE legs...blood and guts everywhere... i am soooo upset and crying and dont know what to do..never been in an accident and def not with a rental car..sigh. yada yada yada and the cop writes me a "notice of accident report" which means he saw the whole thing happen and said i was doin the speed limit and there was nothing i could have done at all to avoid it. he said anyone driving the car could not have avoided that one. sigh...so anyways...yesterday was just horrible and now my head and neck hurt ANDDDD whatever isnt covered by 1500 dollars of damage to the car..i have to cover..sigh..this sucks!!! i just needed to get it out..i just feel horrible still and depressed i think! anyways...hope all of you are doing half way good. :) leave me sum luv...peace.......

So the semester is almost coming to a close, which means i will only have ONE MORE TO GO TO GRADUATE!!! YEAAAAAAA!!! i absolutely cannot wait...cuz this is my 5th year and i am DEF gettin senioritis!!! i just want to give up...:( sigh. i guess it's that time of semester when ya get all stressed and what not. blah! I started babysittin this lil baby boy that is 2 months old and i just love it!! It takes up pretty much all my free time and is an average of about 33hrs a week plus my full time classes! whew. my only day off from anything is Sunday. That is my day to rest and do homework. I will soon put a picture up of my lil one :) he is soooo cute and just luvs me and talks to me all the time! :) Gettin baby envy..HAHA. Well...after a fun weekend...and a CRAZY party last nite..i unfortunetly am still recovering and feel horrible. :( However, on the brighter side of things....THE STEELERS KICKED MAJOR ASS....thats what im talkin about!!!! i knew they could do it and chris told everyone the eagles were gonna lose and no one believed...heh. Here in state college it is split from eagles and steelers fans as it is democratic and republican in this country. Well time has passed and i attended my friends funeral and in the meanwhile i am getting behind in school because of it :( This election sucks and it is stuff like this that makes people not get out there and vote, cuz they feel it's not worth it-why? i am celebrating halloween this coming weekend..yes a lil late but what can ya do? I cannot wait til this semester is over!!! i keep counting the days. :)

So i am sitting here doing my online Spanish homework at 230 am sunday nite and i get a message from my friend Troy that goes a little something like this: Him: sup, Me-hey hun how are ya?, Him-not good, Me-aww why not?, Him-Rod died in a car accident yesterday. Now ok, Rod is our friend, i loved Rod and this all just seems like a dream to me!! The background of Rod goes a lil somethin like this....I was on spring break my freshmen year in Myrtle Beach and i was on the beach and two guys came over to me and a girl i was with. Rod started talkin to me and *gamin it* and asked if we could meet up later cuz he was stayin 2 houses down from where i was stayin. So later that nite Liz and i went to Rods place to hang with him and his 7 guy friends that he came with. We shot the shit and had a blast just bustin on each other and playin with those crazy "body dice". We shot the shit for about 4 hours Liz, me and the 7 guys. Then I exchanged emails with the one other guy Troy so i could send him the pictures that i took because he was the only one with a computer. Next day we hung out a lil bit before i had to leave-(long story short)-i kept in contact with Troy and Rod all these years. there is more to just meeting them that one time. about two years back i was talking to Troy on the computer and he was partying and then just disspeared. well after an hour or so someone got online on his screen name and started talkin to me and let me know that Troy was ok but just sick and he didnt want me to think he forgot about me. Well this person ended up being Chris my now boyfriend of 2 and a half years. Chris and i got to talkin and he gave me his screen name instead and yada yada yada. Chris was Rod's friend and worked with him for a year and a half at Sheetz and was invited to their party. So every time i went to visit chris i would hang with Rod and Troy and the original 7 guys. it seemed soo weird to hang out with them many more times again after just meeting them (Rod) on the beach. So now i feel sad, do not know how to act or what to say to Troy. I feel horrible, Rod was a cool guy..and he is taken away so fast. He is the link between chris and i and we would not have met if it weren't for Rod. I will get more details tomorrow and when the funeral is, but you better believe i will rent a car and travel to my friends funeral!! I tried to wake chris up at 230am and tell him about his friend, but he was incoherent so i thought it would be better to tell him tomorrow. Anyways i just wanted to post this....i have never had someone this close to me that i actually hung with and had a kick ass time with die before. Remember to tell your friends and family how much they really mean to you, because you never know just when they might leave forever. Please send your prayers to his family, friends, wife and 2 month old baby. Thank you. We love you Rod!!

What is this world coming to that every time there is a winning in sports it leads to a riot? It is like there is nothing better to do but be a poor sport about something or just riot because you won. I am talking about the Yankee - Red Sox game that ended in a riot in Boston with a 21 year old girl dying because of a pepper spray ball from the cops hitting her eye. So Friday nite was another AMAZING nite of kicking ass at poker! :) My biggest winnings ever :) i just love poker!!! Julias winnings: $42 (put in 10), Chris' winnings: $12 (put in 25), Dave's winnings: $28 (put in 25), Chip's winnings: $-25 (put in 25), Chip's dad's winnings: $18(put in 20)!!!! Isn't it funny that i put in the least and walked away with the most?? :) :):):) Anyways, so today we are going to see Team America!! I am so psyched!! anyone see it yet? opinions?? I'll let you all know how it was when i return. Oh and i checked out Dooce's page and read her page for about an hour straight..haha. She has a shit load of postings, cool site. yes yes i know, it's been a while. :) well first i had to celebrate my birthday and go home and visit people. i had a wonderful time visiting home again! THEN i got two virus on my stupid computer and here i am again, back here to bug you all :) haha. anyways, after reformatting my complete computer TWICE i am here again and hopefully for good this time. I started babysitting today and will continue to do that as my job while in school. i just love babies!! and this one is 8 weeks old :) Nothing new is really goin on. Well, today is the day that i was brought into the world...23 years ago! WOW! yep, it's my birthday and it has been very good so far. I got to sleep in because my only class for the day is from 230-330 and then Chris gets off work at 430 and who knows what the day has planned for me. I recieved a birthday card from my great freind Holly that was sooo sweet and creative and a lil handmade present that was awesome...it made me cry. Also a card from my god-mother as well as many e-cards from family and friends. thanks you guys!! 10-4 over and out! haha...that's the way my mom remembers my birthday and often forgets all her other kids birthdays, but besides.....her birthday is Oct 6th so she is more likely to remember the date of mine. She is just bad with numbers..what can i say? haa. Also, for my birthday my moms friend Cotton is gonna buy me a "mug club" from fox n hound, which is you get a mug and your favorite beer on discount price for the whole year of your birthday!!!!! plus free dinner ON your birthday. politics in Ravens apartment

ok so i just need to get this off my chest....I HATE POLITICS!!!!! it seems to ruin people lives or friendships...absolutely rediculous! ok so the story is...i live with my boyfriend and a roomate (Chip)who is originally chris' friend and we have lived with him for about a year and a half now. well...he is a hard core republican (which i have no hard feelings toward..) and well..i am quite liberal and am voting for Kerry personally, while chris is...just stuck in the middle i guess (?). he is leanin more towards kerry but doesnt consider himself a democrat...soo...the day after the debate chris gets picked up by chip and his dad and his dad says "so..what do we have to do to make you a republican?" and then they start debating A WHOLE LOT (2 and a half hours) and Chip gets soooooo freakin upset!! and pissed and sayin that he is right and chris is wrong and he doesnt understand and cant believe he's gonna vote for kerry..blah blah blah and then leaves and walks away pissed at chris. see..the thing is...chip just doesnt know how to "debate" i guess...i dont know but its frustrating and he is constantly telling me all these "bad" things about kerry and this and that and i frankly dont care and dont wanna talk about it cuz i know he gets so mad about it so i never really say anything except "oh ok". and he never gets the point and just always seems to want to bash kerry. so then there was this freakin tension in our apartment all because of the freakin disagreement of the election!!!!! ugg. i just hate talking about it because its so touchy and especially for my roomate i guess. he just seriously says he cannot fathom that we want kerry and feels the need to "convert" us and ram it down our throat how he feels and how he "unfeels" for democrats period. always downgrading democrats and saying "well if the fuckin democrats this...and that" but anyways....i just needed to express that and that I HATE POLITICS if its gonna be like this!! i have respect for his feelings and opinions but when it comes to mine its like "you are just wrong and fucked up for thinkin like that"..well fuck you too then!!! whew....ok...so what are your thoughts? btw this caused massive fighting for about 3 hours after the stupid talk of it between them. personally, hearing them talk about politics makes me cringe and it is seriously like nails going down a chalkboard when i hear it getting started. it has always been like that b/c they just don't agree..so i just say why talk about...forget it and agree to disagree. so today (the day after) they finally were nice to each other and Chip said "i just think we need to not talk about it"....and I thought...HMMM GENIUS IDEA GUYS!!!!! .....ok sorry for the book again guys....i usually wont talk this much..really...luv ya all..jewels

Kicked Ass in Poker

well well well, look who has come into the poker world. Julia Sheakley! Chris (my boyfriend) has always loved poker and had tournaments for real money. Well we have started regular poker partys at our place and let me just say...let the fun begin!! Chris, our roomate and I watch the WPT (world poker tour for those of you who have no ideat what WPT means) and Chris has since bought casino chips online for 140 dollars. They are amazing chips and you get craps dice, two decks of cards and a "Dealer" pin!! It is 550 clay chips with awesome design on them. Anyways...well how about...the first time i joined in to play for 10 dollars with Chris, his friend Dave, our roomate Chip and Chips dad..lets just say...I KICKED ASS. i am always the one that has the luck..even in casinos..i just have the luck..what can i say?
i went gambling on MIKEYS wedding day with him, my other brother, chris and others and paid 10 dollars for quarters and walked out with a $310 from quarter machines!!!! I won the Jackpot 3 times!!! then i joked and said to my brothers "i wanna go to higher machines so i can win big - lets go to vegas!" HAHA.
But anyways.. so my first time playing poker for money, which i was a lil sketchy about (i didnt wanna lose my money)...i rocked the house and walked out with $45!!! Everyone was getting pissed because i just kept getting the cards...i beat Chip with 4 Aces when he has 4 Kings...then again beat him with a Straight Flush when he has 4 Aces.....seems made up but when the chips went flying cuz he went all in...(he was a lil mad)..it was truth! I just kept getting lucky and it was awesome. Chris' pride was runnin a lil low because he is always the one who beats everyone (cuz of strategy) but he could not keep up with my "luck". :(
Then we played a week later and i again...defeated just about everyone, but this time i got sloppy when it came down to just my boyfriend and i because i just kept calling for stubborn puposes and lost some of my winnings...but only to him..so it was mine anyways..HAHA. So the end of that game went to Chris and I.....i walked away with $37 and chris walked away with $42......everyone else lost their money but again, Chris and i only put in $10...so we both made out.
So now i am in love with poker!! and Chris asked me "So how did it feel to get that Horseshoe up your ass?" :) hahaa! well i just wanted to tell you about my poker experience...and would love to challenge anyones luck....muahhhhaaaaahaaaa! (just kiddin). Alright well enough of this book....tell me how your poker luck usually goes :) peace...
